The Stratholme lily (Lillium favillum) was a hybridized species of lily formerly bred in the area around the town of Stratholme. Though thought wiped out during the siege and burning of the city by Princess Arthas and her rogue faction of the Silver Hand, the species had since been spotted thriving in places far-distant from Stratholme, often even on land effected by the Plague of Undeath, where no other plant life would grow. This property of the plant had lent it a folk reputation of being a ward against necromantic magics, and the nickname "Arthas' Tears."
Unfortunately, following the death of Arthas herself and the subsequent Cataclysm, the subspecies seems to have become extinct and irreplicable even in closed greenhouse environments.
